We launched AI Risk Lab

We launched AI Risk Lab - a research initiative where we review selected AI ideas, LLM applications, agents and RAG systems and give an independent engineering opinion before you ship to production.

Over the past year, we've noticed something interesting.

More and more conversations with customers, founders, and engineering teams started with the same question:

"Can you take a quick look at our AI idea?"

Sometimes it was an LLM application. Sometimes an internal assistant, a RAG pipeline, or an AI agent. Occasionally it was something much bigger - a product that hadn't even been built yet.

The questions were different, but the underlying concern was always the same: are we about to make an expensive mistake?

Getting it to work isn't the hard part anymore

AI development is moving incredibly fast. New frameworks appear every week, models improve every month, and it's tempting to focus entirely on getting something working.

But getting it to work isn't the hard part anymore.

The difficult part is understanding what could go wrong once real users, sensitive data, unpredictable prompts, and determined attackers enter the picture.

That's why we created AI Risk Lab

It's a simple idea. If you're building something AI-powered, we'll review selected submissions and give you an independent engineering opinion before you invest months of development or ship to production.

We're not interested in selling fear or producing a hundred-page report full of buzzwords.

Instead, we'll tell you what we'd tell our own team:

What's technically realistic?

Where are the biggest security risks?

Could confidential information leak?

Is the architecture likely to scale?

What assumptions would we challenge?

What would an experienced attacker try first?

Sometimes the answer will be reassuring. Sometimes it won't.

Either way, we'd rather help identify risks early than read about them after launch.

An open initiative

AI Risk Lab is a research initiative by Interpretica, and for now we're offering assessments for selected projects free of charge.

If you're working on an AI product, an LLM application, an AI agent, or a RAG system, we'd love to take a look. You can submit your idea to AI Risk Lab and we'll tell you where the real risks are.

Sometimes a second opinion is the cheapest part of the entire project - and the most valuable one.
